Day 332: The one with all the turkey
Yesterday was a long and wonderful day! I didn’t post because I wanted to spend as much time with family as possible. Eric and I went to two Thanksgiving meals yesterday. One with my family in the early afternoon and one with his family in the evening. My family lives 2.5 hours away from us and his sister, which is where we had it, lives about 1.5 hours away from my family. The drive back to our house was about 3 hours. That is a whole lot of driving. Oh and we took our dog with us! This was her first road trip. She did pretty good, except that she is completely spoiled and rode all but 1 hour in my lap.
Day 333: The one with all the shopping
So yeah, don’t judge me! I for sure am wearing the same pants I wore yesterday. We got home at midnight and I didn’t go to sleep until around 1 am. Then I got up again at 5 am for Black Friday shopping! So on 4 hours of sleep we are all lucky I even ended up fully dressed.
Jo-Ann’s and I had a grand old time! I got roughly, 85 yards of flannel. I also got 3 yards of lining for my next coat. I got just a few odds and ends like buttons and pearls and a few spools of thread. I didn’t even photograph all the ornaments I got either. I guess this means I need to start Christmas crafting now.
