The sun started setting at a quarter till 5:00 tonight and as such I had incredibly poor lighting for my sad little point and shoot camera with a pitiful flash. That is why for Christmas I requested Best Buy gift cards. So that I can combine them and get a DSLR.
There are 2 things that I am wanting to get before we adopt and a DSLR is one of them. I want to capture every moment that will follow us finally becoming parents without having to worry about the quality that I cannot control with my point and shoot. Photos will be an important visual part of our story, not just for us and you wonderful reader, but more so for our future child. I want to make sure they have a great understanding of their history.
The second thing that I am wanting is a new car. Right now I have a two door 18 year old car that is not suited for small children. It is old and has it problems, like no A/C and doors that stick shut in the winter. It is fine for me now because I can handle those things, but definitely not a family car. I don’t know when this one is going to happen though. Maybe within the next year, we’ll see.
