I am getting my sewing mojo back and I am super stoked!!! I finally finally got my beloved September issue of Vogue. I have to say, I am not that impressed with it this year. Don’t get me wrong, it is still the September issue, making it the best issue of the year, but I wasn’t drooling like I have in the past. That being said Grace Coddington is a super fashion genius! There has also been a rumor going around my office that the awful light blue men’s cut button up and khakis uniform that our management staff is required to wear during the fall season are going to be no more!!! We are officially going to a business casual dress code as of Monday. You have no idea how freaking thrilled I am about this. I am a bit peeved that I only have a weekend’s notice, but not enough that it ruins how freaking excited I am!!! Now put that with the September issue and the fact that I have lost 25lbs and you end up with all sorts of fantastic motivation to sew. I cannot wait to wear clothes that fit and look great on me at work. I have come up with a must have list for the fall as a result. I made a bunch of awesome sets on Polyvore.
1. Bold Color Draped Pieces: like the wrap tops or draped necklines in berries and blues and greens.
5. Edgy Rock ‘n’ Roll Pieces: I am talking about black leather with studs. I want to pair this with the tailored dresses. I think it will be a fantastic contrast.
6. Chocolate Brown & Creamy Off -White w/ Gold Jewelry: Decadent is the only thing that comes to mind.
