Day 270: 9/27/13

Yesterday was Eric’s birthday!  Happy Birthday Eric!  We went out to dinner with our friends and played a game of Tsuro afterwards!  It was a pretty great night.  So great that I was too tired when we got home to update my blog for the day.

My Diamond Candles arrived yesterday as well!  The scents I got are Caramel Apple Cider and Pumpkin Chai.  They smell divine!

 

Day 271: 9/28/13

Today I started burning my first one, Caramel Apple Cider.  These candles smell so freaking great I can’t even begin to describe it.  I can tell that they are going to last a while too.  I burnt it for 6 straight hours and it only burnt down by maybe a 1/4 of an inch.

Now to the more important part of the candle, the ring!  Each candle has a gold marker on it showing you where the ring is located in the candle.  So, I let it burn down to that point today.  Call it impatience, but I wanted to get the ring today, not in a few days.  It is very sparkly!  The big center stone is a lilac purple color.  This is definitely a $10 ring.  It is metal, but not a quality metal like silver or platinum.  It’s still sparkly though!  Tomorrow, I will burn the second candle to get the ring in it.
