Day 208: What’s going on

Musings of a Seamstress

Now that the day is very nearly over I thought I should probably get on posting for today.  My little blog has been getting a lot of traffic recently since posting Kaycee’s Story last Saturday.  On behalf of her family, I want to thank everyone for the kind words you have shared.  Please keep sharing her story with others.

Tonight, it has come to my attention that all of this new traffic has caused some to wonder why I am wearing a navy dress everyday.  If you have only just begun to follow my blog you probably had to go back a ways to figure out what this dress is all about.  Here’s the gist of it.  Eric and I are wanting to adopt and adoption is expensive.  Like around $26,000 kind of expensive.  So to help raise money I am wearing this one navy dress every day for one year and styling it differently everyday, not repeating a single outfit.  I post everyday of the outfit I have worn that day.  You can even tell me what to wear for a day by donating $10 to our adoption fund through PayPal or our Go Fund Me site.  That is a very very short overview of what is going on.  I plan on making a tab tomorrow with a more in depth overview of what and why I am doing this with links back to the original posts explaining it as well as links to all of the sponsor days so far.
